Since Lythrum Farm only has twelve stalls, we pride ourselves on the great care and individual attention that we are able to give our horses and our boarders.
Depending on the season the horses are turned out for up to 10 hours daily where they have constant access to clean water and fresh hay. We believe that since horses are herd animals and are very social by nature they should always go out with a friend. However, we take great care and consideration before pairing two new horses together for the first time.
Lythrum Farm has nine paddocks; of which up to four are rested at a time to allow grass to grow. We have found that our own horses are extremely spoiled and enjoy eating hay in their less-grassy paddocks in the morning before being turned out onto lush grass in the afternoon.
Lythrum Farm has a state of the art, Olympic sized indoor arena with GGT footing. Our indoor has a weatherproof fabric roof, which allows us to have natural light all day long! Our heated and air-conditioned viewing room allows you to watch the lessons take place away from the elements. Our farm is also adjacent to hundreds of acres of conservation land and trails.
